ES American School is proud to offer its students the opportunity to serve as student leaders through the ES American School Student Council. The Student Council forms the nucleus of our relationship with our student-athletes and plays an important role at ES American School, the Academia Sánchez-Casal, and the community at large, as it creates a series of inspiring ideas and then works diligently to bring them to fruition.
The Student Council is elected by the ES American School student body at the beginning of each academic year as provided for by the Student Council Constitution. All full-time, year-long ES American School students with a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher are eligible to serve as officers or representatives on the Student Council for the academic year in which he/she is elected.
The Student Council provides valued communication to the school and tennis academy about those issues of interest and importance affecting the lives of our student-athletes. These student leaders commit their time, energy, and ideas in order to improve the quality of life for all in our community, and they also try to add a few moments of fun to everyone’s intense schedule. By working together, they have established some memorable traditions for other student-athletes to experience and enjoy for years to come. Working as a team is their constant endeavor.
